Start Right Driving School Policies

By enrolling in any of our driving packages or individual lessons, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Payment Requirement:
Scheduling your lessons is contingent upon full payment for your chosen package or individual lesson. To receive the per-lesson discount on packages, the full price must be paid in full at the start of the lesson or prior to the lesson. Payments can be made either online or by calling our office. Accepted payment methods for all packages include cash, card, bank transfer, Zelle, and for packages above $500, Afterpay is offered to help split payments.

Cancellation and Rescheduling:
You must provide at least 24 hours' notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Failure to do so will result in a $50 rescheduling fee. No-shows will be subject to the same fee. Instructors will wait for 15 minutes past the scheduled start time; after this, the lesson will be considered a no-show and subject to the $50 fee.

Licensing Pre-requisites:
For the lesson to proceed, students are required to have either a valid Florida Learner's Permit, Driver's License, or an International License. A $75 rescheduling fee will be applied if this requirement is not met.

Refund Guidelines:
Refunds for the remaining unused lessons are available upon request and will incur a $25 administrative charge. Any lessons already taken will be deducted from the refund at the single lesson rate. However, if you decide to rebook within six months, you'll receive a $10 voucher toward your next lesson.

Completion Certificate:
Upon successfully finishing 6 hours of on-the-road lessons, you'll receive our Start Right Driving School Certificate of Completion. This might help you secure discounts on car insurance; however, it's advised to consult your provider.
